Residents get free tickets for UM basketball gamesThanks to a 20-year Development Agreement between the City of Coral Gables and the University of Miami, Coral Gables residents can receive up to four free tickets per household for upcoming Hurricanes men’s and women’s basketball games.
Tickets will be distributed in person at the War Memorial Youth Center, 405 University Dr., no earlier than the designated distribution date. Residents must show proof of residential address.
Tickets are limited to four per household. Tickets for the following games are currently available:
Men’s Basketball
Princeton, Tuesday, Dec. 29, at 7 p.m. Ticket pickup starts Dec. 12; Wake Forest, Saturday, Jan. 23, at noon. Ticket pickup starts Jan. 9, and Pittsburgh, Tuesday, Feb. 9, at 7 p.m. Ticket pickup starts Jan. 30.
Women’s Basketball
North Carolina, Sunday, Jan. 17, at 12:30 p.m. Ticket pickup starts Dec. 19; FSU, Sunday, Jan. 24, at 1 p.m. Ticket pickup starts Jan. 9; Duke, Sunday, Feb. 7, at 1 p.m. Ticket pickup starts Jan. 23, and Virginia Tech, Sunday, Feb. 21, at 4 p.m. Ticket pickup starts Feb, 6.
