The Chamber’s Small Business Committee to host IMPACT Seminar in February

The day before Valentine’s Day, the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business Committee will present our first IMPACT Seminar of 2013, informing members about the best methods to protect and prevent your business from succumbing to criminal activity. Titled, “Security Alert: Protecting Your Business from Fraud and Other Crimes”, this seminar will be held on Wednesday, February 13 at 8 AM at Cherry Bekaert LLP at 2525 Ponce de Leon Blvd., Suite 1040.

Our program will feature an all-star panel of speakers, including: Sylvia Garcia, Fraud Prevention Manager, Mercantil Commercebank; Rick Ibarria, Senior Vice President, Visa International; Kevin Gilpin, National Crimestop Program, Florida Dept. of Law Enforcement, and Manolo Reboso, Assistant State Attorney, Economic Crimes Division, Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office. Our special guest will be Ivonne Perez-Suarez, Consumer Advocate, Florida Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services. Yoel (Mo) Molina, Law Office of Yoel Molina, will serve as the moderator.
