Upright Citizens Brigade to perform at South Miami-Dade Cultural Arts Center

South Miami-Dade Cultural Arts Center, 10950 SW 211 St. in Cutler Bay, presents the famed improv comedy group Upright Citizens Brigade as part of the Cabaret Series on Saturday, Feb. 18, in shows at 7:30 and 9:30 p.m.

UCB Tour Co brings the best improv comedians from the legendary Upright Citizens Brigade Theatres in New York and Los Angeles to new audiences all around the country. The UCB Theatre — founded by Amy Poehler, Matt Besser, Ian Roberts, and Matt Walsh — has been home to some of the biggest stars in comedy today.

From TV shows like Broad City, Saturday Night Live, Silicon Valley, Veep, and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, to films such as Bridesmaids, The Hangover, and The Heat, its performers are everywhere. Not to mention the writing rooms of Key and Peele, the Daily Show with Jon Stewart, Inside Amy Schumer, and many more.

The South Miami-Dade Cultural Arts Center is managed by the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs, with funding support from the Office of the Miami-Dade County Mayor and Board of County Commissioners.
