Young Israel of Kendall will launch the 70 Days for 70 Years Worldwide Memorial Program this Sunday January 25, 2015 at 7880 SW 112 Street Pinecrest starting at 8PM. Participants will hear from Rabbi Hershel Becker about the program that provides a book of essays and a memorial card with the name and bio of one victim of the Holocaust. Each day for 70 days, corresponding to the 70 years since the liberation from Auschwitz, an essay on Jewish topics will be studied in memory of the person with whom they have been paired.

The attendees will be addressed by Howard Kleinberg, a Holocaust Survivor (featured with his wife on Live with Regis and Kelly) whose love story began in the Bergen Belsen concentration camp and continued with over 60 years of marriage.

Individual participation is $18 and includes an essay book and memorial card and entrance to 70 Days programming. Sponsorships in memory of/in honor of loved ones are available.
