Take Sixx inaugurates the 2016 Conservation Concert (ConCon) season, returning to the Doc Thomas House Keystone Stage, 5530 Sunset Dr., on Saturday, Jan. 30, 7-10 p.m., for the seventh consecutive year and filling the evening air with classic and contemporary hits. Doors open at 7 p.m.
Admission is by $10 donation; children are free. Picnic tables available on a first-come basis.
Limited free parking in the Doc Thomas House lot via the SW 55th Avenue gate and along 56th Avenue; metered parking on Sunset Drive; various garage and valet parking options within one to three blocks; Metrorail service to South Miami Station.
ConCon proceeds benefit capital improvements to the Tropical Audubon Society grounds and its historic buildings.
Jefe’s Tacos & Burgers food truck will offer its signature Baja-inspired dishes.
