Coral Gables Hospital honored for effort to improving stroke careCoral Gables Hospital and the City of Coral Gables Fire Department were recognized by the Miami-Dade Stroke Consortium (MDSC) for their dedication to improving stroke care and outcomes. Coral Gables Hospital, a Primary Stroke Center, is one of 16 hospitals and six fire rescue departments that is part of MDSC’s network. The mission of the collaborative network is to have stroke patients transported to the appropriate stroke center to receive the quickest and best possible treatment.
