A Cutler Bay Senior High School graduating senior, Paola Gerena, was awarded third place in The Elie Wiesel Foundation Ethics Essay Contest 2018. The contest was sponsored by the Division of Academics, Department of Social Sciences and the Elie Wiesel Foundation. Gerena received a $1,000 scholarship. Christy Ann McCoy is Gerena’s teacher.
