Doral Conservatory and School of the Arts is supporting the up-to-now unparalleled talent of Christopher Abella, an 11- year-old ‘High Couture’ designer.
Dedication and creativity along with sensible lines and an astounding sense of composition have made the young design prodigy one of the most sought after artists of Miami-Dade and his name has started to come up in fashion’s Mecca, New York.
Christopher was born in Miami and currently studies at the Expressive Arts Magnet School in South Miami, where a select group of gifted students are allowed to participate in a specialized Visual Arts program. Besides his aptitude for fashion design, he is a normal kid who enjoys such extracurricular activities like baseball.
This young fashion prodigy is, without a doubt, a special human being who deserves to realize his dream. Doral Conservatory and School of the Arts, a strong supporter of Hispanic talent, showcased an exhibition of his designs on Thursday, January 20 at 7 p.m. The exhibit will remain open throughout February.
