Miami Bridge Youth + Family Services, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, announces the appointment of six new members to its board of directors. The agency, which is Miami-Dade County’s only 24-hour emergency shelter for abused, neglected and abandoned youth, appoints Joseph Cantrell, Process Manager at Greenspoon Marder Law; Peggy Olin Fucci, Owner of OneWorld Properties; Dr. Todd Giardina, Psychologist at Coral Gables Counseling Center; Julie Harris Nelson, Partner at Roig Lawyers; Darren Campbell, Director at Cushman & Wakefield and Johane Domersant, Assistant General Counsel at Ryder System, Inc. “It’s a privilege to be a part of Miami Bridge and serve with board members who have a wealth of leadership experience,” said Harris Nelson. “Our goal is to utilize our experience and relationships within the community to help provide the resources these young people need and reunify families for a safer and stronger future.”
The Miami Bridge Board of Directors is comprised of individuals working in the health, law, business and education communities of South Florida. In addition to the six new board members, Miami Bridge recently elected a new president of the board, Attorney Marlene Quintana of GrayRobinson.

“Our board plays an essential role in promoting our vision, expanding our services, gaining sponsorships and raising proceeds at events,” said Dr. Dorcas Wilcox, CEO of Miami Bridge. “I’m confident that our new additions will help us support and strengthen children and families in need.”
