Southland Mall presented its seventh annual kids’ convention, better known as “Kids Week,” from July 25 through July 30, which was attended by hundreds of families.
The festivities began at Center Court on Monday, July 25, with Miami Children’s Museum’s interactive program based on its latest exhibit, “Summer Games.” Also that day, the Miami Heat held a ticket giveaway to their “Summer Jam” and pre-season games in October.
Other highlights included a wing eating contest on Thursday, July 28, courtesy of Buffalo Wild Wings, capped with the grand finale on Saturday, July 30, with activities sponsored by Zoo Miami, Superstar Productions, and ESPN Deportes Miami.
“Southland was delighted to present its seventh annual ‘Kids Week’ event,” said Maggie Anzardo, marketing director at Southland Mall.
“This family friendly event has become a signature event at the center and is held every summer at Southland.”
