Town's next movie night moves to new locationThe Town of Cutler Bay’s traditional Movie Night event will be returning on Friday, June 10, but this time at a new location.

The screening has been moved from Cutler Ridge Park, to the South Lawn of Health South Rehabilitation Hospital of Miami, 20601 Old Cutler Rd.

Scheduled for 8 p.m., the movie will be Disney/PIXAR’s The Good Dinosaur, a 2015 computer-animated comedy adventure film directed by Peter Sohn; screenplay by Meg LeFauve from an original idea by Bob Peterson. Set on a fictional Earth in which dinosaurs never became extinct, the film follows a young Apatosaurus named Arlo, who meets an unlikely human friend while traveling through a harsh and mysterious landscape.

The film features the voices of Raymond Ochoa, Jack Bright, Sam Elliott, Anna Paquin, A.J. Buckley, Jeffrey Wright, Frances McDormand, and Steve Zahn. It was released in November 2015 to positive reviews.

“Health South is sponsoring the event,” said Fred Bobson of the Parks and Recreation Department. “We’ll have all the stuff we usually have at the movie night, but over there, refreshments and food will be available.”

Admission is free, but residents are advised to bring lawn chairs and blankets.

“Our next event coming up will be Splash in the Bay,” Bobson said.
