Homestead, FL is bustling with activity for the month of February. While January was a busy month for
Homestead events, February 2011 is promising to be just as packed! With a variety of upcoming events

Speaking of packed—the Homestead Farmer’s Monday Market is continuing until April. Every Monday
afternoon from 2 pm until 6 pm, Losner Park becomes a hub of activity. Happy Homesteaders are able
to find everything from fruit and vegetables to locally made handicrafts. For detailed information,

On Friday February 4, the 2011 Rotary Club of Homestead Charitable Trust banquet and auction is taking
place. The Harris Field Barn Pavilion on 8th Street will host this renowned event. The dinner starts at
6:30 pm with the auction getting under way at 7:30 pm. Tickets are available for $25 from the Rotary

You can work off your banquet dinner the next morning at the Homestead Heart & Soles 5K Walk and
Run at Losner Park. Registration starts at 7am with the Walk/Run beginning at 8am. Make your

If you did not get enough exercise at the Heart & Soles Walk/Run on Saturday, you can strap on your
running shoes the next Tuesday. February 8th Homestead Miami Speedway is hosting the Homestead
