‘Wild about Kids’ Gala to benefit Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade

Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade is gearing up to celebrate the 10th anniversary of its annual black-tie “Wild About Kids” Gala on Nov. 12, 6:30 p.m.-midnight, at The Ritz-Carlton, 455 Grand Bay Dr. in Key Biscayne.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade’s many positive programs — including after school programs, homework assistance, computer training, social skills, dance, arts and crafts, professional mentoring, and summer and athletic programs — for area children who need them the most.

The event will begin with a cocktail reception, followed by dinner, the program, dancing and live entertainment. South Florida’s top community leaders, philanthropists and socialites will be among the more than 450 anticipated guests who will enjoy a themed-evening full of surprises, luxurious and unique auction items, and much more. Guests also will have a special opportunity at the event to sponsor a child through donations.

“Wild About Kids” Gala chairs are Gabriela Rachadell de Delgado and Marile Lopez. During the festivities, Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade will honor Alexandra Villoch, president and publisher of Miami Herald Media Company, with the Community Builder Award, and Judith Kramer, retired Miami-Dade County Public Schools executive, with the Charles “Bebe” Rebozo Humanitarian Award.
