The Casimiro Global Foundation, a Miami-based non-profit organization, celebrates its fourteenth anniversary with a fundraising and awards reception, “Young Minds of the Past, Present and Future,” Oct. 23 at the Miami Innovation Center on the University of Miami Life Science Campus, 1951 N.W. 7 Ave.
The reception, a major fundraising event for the Foundation, recognizes South Florida’s “BizNovator Challenge” finalists, a “Socially Responsible Corporation” and the “Social Entrepreneur of the Year.”
Top finalists in each category will win seed capital grants, corporate internships, an on-line learning platform, coaching and mentorship, and a full scholarship to the CGF 2015 “BizNovator” Camp.”
A fun and interactive after-work event, the reception highlights accomplishments of South Florida youth with an array of activities that include wine tasting, hors d’oeurves, silent auction, DJ, a fashion show, young entrepreneur and innovator exhibits, and raffles.
