Councilwoman Claudia Mariaca awarded 2018 Public Service Award

City of Doral Councilwoman Claudia Mariaca was recently recognized with the 2018 Public Service Award at the 24thAnnual South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (SFLHCC) Sunshine Awards.

The award is in recognition of the Councilwoman Mariaca’s many accomplishments and contributions to the City of Doral, as well as being an inspiration to all women for her leadership and commitment to serve her community. The luncheon took place March 23 at the Rusty Pelican.

“I am extremely grateful to be recognized with this prestigious award by the SFLHCC. I have always been passionate about serving my community and I look forward to continuing these efforts that positively affects the lives of others,” said Mariaca.

The SFLHCC was founded in 1994, with the mission of promoting the continued growth and development of the Hispanic business community and to serve as a resource center and forum to advocate for Hispanic and Minority owned businesses. The organization is comprised of dedicated professional individuals and business owners whom have come together to advance the commercial, financial, educational, and civic interests of the ever-growing Hispanic Community of South Florida.
