Daniel Buigas, FIU and Indiana University graduate, has been named Executive Director of the Doral Community Coalition (DCC), a community- based organization founded in 2010.
Mr. Buigas received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Florida International University, followed by a J.D. from the Maurer School of Law from the University of Indiana, Bloomington, IN.
The position was created to enable DCC to respond more quickly to the needs of residents and implement its outreach programs, designed to energize and create community interest in all Doral areas.
The Coalition, made up of community- based groups in Doral which helped found and incorporate the City, liaisons with city government and organizations that sponsor and hold events for all Doral residents.
