Iconic Trump National Doral hosts new era of hospitality

BLUE MONSTER GOLF COURSE [dropcap]C[/dropcap]ulmination of the $250 million renovation of the world renowned Trump National Doral occurred March 4-8 during the World Golf Championship-Cadillac Championship on the resort’s iconic Blue Monster course.

The best golfers on the planet converged in the heart of Miami for a spectacular weekend as well as a ‘must attend’ international social event, bringing together luminaries from the worlds of golf, fashion, music and entertainment.

Festivities included the Cadillac Miami Nights fashion experience, featuring a Dolce & Gabbana runway show hosted by Ivanka Trump, and a Cadillac Miami Nights Live concert starring rock legend Carlos Santana.

“Since the WGC-Cadillac Championship was last played here a year ago, practically everything at the resort is new,” said Donald J. The 2015 Cadillac Championship featured the top 50 players in the Official World Ranking, broadcast to more than one billion households in 225 countries as Dustin Johnson took home his second WGC title.

The iconic Blue Monster course which has hosted the PGA tour for more than 50 years has undergone a total transformation under Trump’s supervision and Olympic course architect Gil Hanse, now featuring completely new greens, traps, fairway tees and lakes.

“When we purchased Trump National Doral, our goal was to create the greatest golf resort in the world.” said Ivanka Trump, Executive Vice President, who served as host Mar. 5 for the après-play event “Cadillac Miami Nights”that featured Dolce & Gabbana, an ultra-exclusive fashion show highlighting the design team’s Summer 2015 collection.

Following the third round of play Mar. 7, legendary guitarist Carlos Santana headlined a live concert with special guests Gente de Zona, Los Amigos Invisibles and others.The multi-Grammy-winning performer delighted fans with his signature fusion sound mixing Latin, blues and rock.

Other tournament week events included a Trump Model Search and an Opening Day MilitaryAppreciation Ceremony with a performance by the U.S. Special Operations Command Para-Commandos…

The tournament coincided with a momentous time which saw opening of a series of spectacular accommodations and amenities atTrump Doral:
