Mind Body Social’s Mother’s Day Wellness Series continues through month of May

Mind Body Social is a community initiative that aims to strike a balance between health, work, and life.

Mind Body Social has created a month-long series, especially for moms, featuring free wellness events, presented by Publix, throughout May in Downtown Doral. Local influencers and experts will also be featured throughout the series that commenced on Mother’s Day.

The series was created primarily to give mothers a variety of opportunities to connect with themselves and their kids through activities that exercise the mind and body, as well as provide easy solutions for healthy eating and living.

The program takes place at various Downtown Doral locations:
• Publix at Downtown Doral (8455 NW 53rd Terrace, Doral, FL 33166)
• Doral Government Center (8401 NW 53rd Terrace, Doral, FL 33166)
• Downtown Doral Park (8395 NW 53rd Street, Doral, FL 33166)

While several events have already taken place, including the May 2 Mom’s Luncheon and Baby & Me Yoga on May 9, there remain several attractive programs available, such as:

Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast (private event) on May 23, 9-10:00 a.m.: Celebrating school volunteers, moms, teachers and staff at the Downtown Doral Charter Elementary school with a Publix “Greenwise” breakfast.

Mindfulness Meditation with Eli Bravo (open to the public), on May 23, 6:30-7:30 p.m.: Leader in “mindfulness,” writer and self-help expert, Eli Bravo, will host a workshop for moms, based on “open mindfulness & mindful eating.”

15-min workout & 5-min snacks (open to the public), May 30, 6:30-7:30 p.m.: Workshop to learn 15-minute, full-body, workout routines by local influencer, and trainer Vanessa De Agrela, followed by a workshop with author, recipe developer, and social media maven, Lauren Arboleda, on how to create healthy snacks in 5-minutes.

Mind Body Social is a community initiative that aims to strike a balance between health, work, and life. The solution-based platform was created with community as the focal point, offering health and fitness pop-ups, innovative content, and practical tools that will help us all achieve a balanced mind and body within today’s hectic lifestyle. Like “food trucks” for the mind and body, Mind Body Social serves as a catalyst for our communities to lead healthier, balanced and social lives.
