The Incredible Dog Show, a traveling circus featuring trick dogs from around the world is performing for the first time in the United States at downtown’s Bicentennial Park.
Shows began on Sept. 28 and continue weeknights and weekends at varying hours through Oct. 23 under a park ‘Big Tent.”
The show was inspired by Arturo Guzman, raised in Puerto Rico and surrounded by spectacular shows such as Disney on Ice, Barnum and Bailey Circus, Monster and Trucks. Son of Luis Arturo Guzman, known as the “Spectacular Host” to the greatest shows ever, he raised his children, Arturo, Anamar, and Ana, close to the industry he loved so well.
After many years of collaborating and consulting with those close to him, Arturo along with his father and siblings consulted friends and associates, deciding three years ago to establish “Show Factory” which hosts “The Incredible Dog Show,” currently traveling around the world.
“The Incredible Dog Show” proved to be a great idea when the show broke attendance records in the “Roberto Clemente Caribbean Coliseum,” and following that success, the Guzmans took the show to Mexico, Venezuela and Dominican Republic where attendance records continued to be broken.
They began their enterprise by scouting for dog lovers who believed in rescuing dogs, training them, and bringing joy and happiness to those that needed a laugh or two.
They began with renowned trainers such as Omar Muller (Hollywood Dogs), Rafael Quinones (Agility Dogs), Todd Murnan (Frisbee Dogs Champion), Ruben Fusino (Agility), and several well-known trainers specializing in unique tricks and acts with their four-legged companions.
As canine enthusiast, the Guzmans greatest desire is to promote animal awareness primarily through rescued animals which they showcase, bringing lots of happiness to many children and adults alike while teaching how to properly communicate with “man’s best friend.”
Ana Guzman, a founding member and performer as well, is relocating to Miami where she’ll join forces with me in Gonzohaus K9 Services, as one of Miami’s local trainers, sharing much of her knowledge as a certified dog trainer and Search and Rescue Specialist for law enforcement, military, and general public.
