In celebration of Black History Month, the Circle of Friends is hosting a discussion of the book, African Presence in Spanish Florida: Black Seminoles, presented by cultural anthropologist Rosalyn Howard, Ph.D. Funding for this program has been provided by the Florida Humanities Council. Attendees will have the opportunity to purchase the book and have it signed. Light refreshments will be served. Location: NSU’s Alvin Sherman Library, Adolfo & Marisela Cotilla Gallery.
