AFP Miami and South Florida Network of Blacks in Philanthropy will host a workshop that will explore the factors that influence giving and the motivation behind Hispanic philanthropy. This workshop is designed to increase the understanding and motivations behind Hispanic philanthropy, whereas attendees will learn how to engage and involve the Hispanic community in identifying and developing leadership capabilities in the area of philanthropy. We will discuss what works and what does not when organizations strive to engage Hispanic philanthropic donors and volunteers.

Hispanics in Philanthropy (HIP) is a national network of more than 500 grantmakers, donors, and philanthropic leaders committed to Latino communities in the United States and Latin America. HIP serves as a philanthropic referral consultant to national funders like the Ford Foundation, Gates Foundation, and many more.
