COUTURE RUNWAY SHOW REFLECTS “THE ART OF PERSEVERANCE”
Shelton Academy proudly presents “The Art of Perseverance”, a fashion show featuring the work of Christopher Abella, a very talented 13-year-old designer.
Perseverance, dedication and creativity – along with sensible lines and an astounding sense of composition – have turned 13-year-old Christopher Abella into a young prodigy of fashion designing and one of Miami-Dade County’s top young artists.
His designs can be admired during “The Art of Perseverance Fashion Show and Exhibition” on Thursday, April 4, 2013, at 7 pm at Shelton Academy’s Auditorium at 11300 NW 41st St., Doral, FL 33178. Entrance is free.
Christopher has an innate passion for the arts and his designs are mostly inspired from the bits of beauty and wonder he draws from his surroundings. Pouring feelings and personal experiences into his work, the young man creates pieces many would think were made by an older person. His work is sophisticated, thoughtful and filled with details which set it apart from others’.
As an artist, Christopher is intense. He works on a project relentlessly and tirelessly until it is completed to his satisfaction; these personal assets will help him climb up the ladder of the Haute Couture world, as many have already called him one of the best designers of the 21st century. Christopher’s gowns reveal his taste for sophisticated elegance, and his creativity gives them an effortlessness flow that would make Valentino and Christian Dior appreciate the good work of a future competitor.
The Shelton Academy, a private learning community committed to educating the heart, mind and spirit of each child, is sponsoring the event along with CatWalk Pros whose experienced models will be showcasing Christopher’s designs on the runway. His fashion sketches will be exhibited as well.
