Walk Now for Autism Speaks Broward Walk

WHAT: The South Florida Chapter of Autism Speaks, the world’s leading autism science and advocacy organization, will hold the 2014 Broward Walk Now for Autism Speaks fundraising and awareness event for families and individuals affected by autism, along with their families, friends and other supporters. All event proceeds will support Autism Speaks’ work, both locally and nationally, to increase awareness about the growing autism health crisis, fund innovative autism research and family services, and advocate for the needs of individuals with autism and their families in Broward County and beyond. The Walk Now for Autism Speaks will feature:
1. A two -mile Walk
2. Community Resource fair with educational sources, therapists, schools, recreational organizations, and creative child-friendly activities
3. Entertaining performances by children and teens on the autism spectrum
