Sign up for this two-hour workshop on an early release day from public school to explore the intersection of gender and race relations in contemporary art. The teens, lead by MOCA facilitators, will create their own works of art while learning about the perspectives that key contemporary artists have explored through their work. Teens will work in gender specific teams of 15 – boys will explore the work of Kehinde Wiley and girls will explore the work of Shoshanna Weinberger. Following the workshop, teens will have time to explore the RACE exhibition.
For Teens ages 14 to 18. Registration deadline is April 3rd.
