As the school year comes to a close, awards, scholarships and recognitions abound.

Recently, the Mandarin Chinese course students of Miami Christian School participated in Florida International University’s Chinese Speech Contest. The students performed in the talent show singing the beautiful Chinese folk song, “Jasmine Flower.” Also in the mix, were two of the high school students, Chrystal Castillo and Veruskafill, who received Honorable Mention Awards from the Level One Chinese Speech Contest.

Miami Christian is very proud of Johnny Rez, graduate of the Class of 2008, who performed at the Latin Billboards in April. A link to his video may be found at https://www.instagram.com/p/BEzPez8jPa4/?taken-by=jrezmusicMCS
