The Miami Foundation, in partnership with Philanthropy Miami, has presented the Ruth Shack Leadership Award to newly appointed Children’s Movement of Florida CEO Vance A. Aloupis.
The award, which recognizes outstanding leadership by a nonprofit professional age 40 or younger, was presented on May 12 during the 18th annual Donor Next Door Luncheon at Jungle Island. It recognizes Aloupis’ accomplishments in developing early childhood programs throughout the state, cementing a pathway to education for thousands of kids.
At age 32, Aloupis is the seventh recipient of the honor, which is given to an emerging community leader who exemplifies hard work, dedication, and service to Greater Miami — all qualities embodied by The Miami Foundation president emeritus Ruth Shack.
