Two Palmer Trinity graduates honored at Silver Knight Awards

Palmer Trinity School has announced that two of its recent graduates were honored at the Miami Herald’s Silver Knight awards this year.

Delaney Reynolds received a Silver Knight (Miami-Dade County) in the category of social science. She was awarded a medallion and Silver Knight statue, as well as $2,000 and 25,000 miles from American Airlines. Reynolds founded the nonprofit Sink or Swim Project which educates the community about rising sea levels and climate change.

Michael Eschmann was given an honorable mention in the category of vocational technical.

“We want to congratulate Delaney and Michael, who are outstanding students, for being among the Miami Herald’s Silver Knight winners and nominees,” said Patrick Roberts, head of school. “They have exhibited both academic excellence and a passion for their many endeavors, and we are confident they will continue to excel in the years to come.”
