Youth/gun violence increase in Liberty City Community Relations Board public meeting

    The Miami-Dade County Community Relations Board (CRB) under the Office of Community Advocacy will hold its Criminal Justice and Law Enforcement Committee meeting on Wednesday, April 25 at 11 a.m. at the City of Miami Police Department-North District Station, 1000 NW 62nd Street, Miami, FL.

    All meetings of the Community Relations Board are open to the public, and residents are encouraged to attend and learn more about the work of the board. There will be an opportunity for attendees to comment at the beginning of the meeting.

    This meeting will focus on the increase in youth/gun violence in Liberty City, and the steps that the City of Miami Police Department, Miami-Dade Police Department, and the Circle of Brotherhood are taking to help curb the violence; as well as the role that the CRB can play.
