Mayor Bateman has conversation with Governor Rick Scott after State Attorney’s Human Trafficking Press Conference. Mayor Bateman has joined forces with the State Attorney’s Office to prevent and promote awareness regarding human trafficking – modern-day slavery.
Mayor met Ms. Allison Goode during State Attorney’s Human Trafficking Press Conference held on Wednesday, February 13, 2013. Ms. Goode shared her story as a human trafficking victim since the age of 5. Today she is the Director of Women’s Ministry at The Avenue Church in Delray Beach. She is also a strong advocate in creating awareness to prevent human trafficking.
