Environmental Leadership Workshop to inspire local citizens toward action and stewardship

Facilitated by Tropical Audubon Society, South Florida’s nonprofit Voice of Conservation, in partnership wit h Florida International University, numerous environmental and area business partners have come together to host t he Environmental Leadership Workshop at FIU on October 11 & 12. The interactive event will provide local citizens wit h t he necessary tools t o become agent s f change in t heir communities. Expert panelist s will cover an array of environmental topics, ranging from local conservation issues, opposition management tactics, wildlife monitoring and citizen science, to crafting your message, engaging via social media and nonprofit fundraising.
