DJ Irie, the official deejay for the Miami Heat, brought his incredibly creative vibe to Kendale Lakes when he appeared as a “Celebrity Banker” at BankAtlantic’s Kendale Lakes Branch on Friday, Nov. 4.
Recently named Brand Ambassador for BankAtlantic, DJ Irie greeted customers from noon to 1 p.m. at the BankAtlantic branch, located at 8701 SW 137 Ave. in Kendall.
As part of its “Celebrity Banker” program, BankAtlantic is planning for a number of local celebrities to visit various locations throughout the year. In visiting the banks, customers will have an opportunity to meet a local celebrity — whether it’s an entertainment artist like DJ Irie, or other leaders of industry and the community.
Other celebrities who already have appeared at BankAtlantic branches include former Miami Dolphin player Channing Crowder and musician and songwriter Willie Stewart of the band Third World. The celebrities also will have a chance to provide information on their own charities.
