Local Simon Malls support Hurricane Irma relief efforts

Dadeland Mall, The Falls and Miami International Mall are serving as drop-off locations for the Red Cross in an effort to give back to the community and assist those affected by Hurricane Irma. The centers will accept donations throughout September.

The centers are working closely with the organization to quickly respond to the needs of individuals, families and communities impacted by the hurricane. All goods accepted will benefit those being sheltered.

“Our thoughts are with all those who have suffered due to Hurricane Irma and its lingering effects,” said Sara Valega, area director of marketing for Miami International Mall. “We’ve received many requests from the community about how they can help Hurricane Irma victims, and we’re glad to offer a way for our customers to assist people in need.”
