NASCAR driver Carl Edwards and Rob Vannuccini, Copart’s senior vice president of marketing, presented a $7,975 donation to Back2Back Ministries staff members Lonnie Clouse, former Motor Racing Outreach chaplain for NASCAR, and Todd Guckenberg, executive director, during a check presentation before Edwards’ race on Nov. 20 at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

The donation came from a recent charity auction held by Carl Edwards, in partnership with Copart Inc., during which they auctioned off Edwards’ Harley Davidson and other race memorabilia. The proceeds from the auctions were donated to Back2Back Minsitries to benefit orphan children and needy people in Monterrey, Mexico.

“We were honored to be a part of this charity auction to help raise funds for those in need,” said Jay Adair, CEO of Copart Inc. “Working with Carl and Back2Back Ministries has been a great experience and Copart is thankful to have been the connecting piece that was able to make the auction come to life.”
