Rotary Club to feature speaker about ‘Stopping Gun Violence’

The Rotary Club of Miami Dadeland- Pinecrest will feature speaker Trish Ramsey, education director of the Melissa Institute, talking about “Stopping Gun Violence” at its meeting on Oct. 28.

The club now is conducting its fall membership drive and is looking for members to fill the open classifications of journalist, dentist, veterinarian, optometrist, chiropractor, psychologist, dentist, publicist, computer technician, plumber, printer, architect, electrician, clergy, automotive mechanic and several attorney sub classifications.

Comprised of professionals and business executives who reside and/or work in the Kendall/Pinecrest area, the Rotary Club of Miami Dadeland-Pinecrest meets for breakfast every other Tuesday morning, 7:30-8:30, at the Dadeland Marriott Hotel, 9090 S. Dadeland Blvd., to discuss community service projects and hear an interesting speaker. The organization plans a club dinner and a networking event each month.
