The Kendall Parkway: Your Connection to SR 836 and Beyond

The Kendall Parkway:

Your Connection to SR 836 and Beyond

What would you do with a little more time in your day?
We all ask ourselves that every day. “Why sit in traffic for hours on end when there is a solution to reclaim precious time?” The transformational Kendall Parkway is the solution for residents of western Miami-Dade County.

More Me Time
Imagine the ability for anyone living between SW 167th Avenue and 137th Avenue in West Dade or West Kendall to access SR 836 the Dolphin Expressway within a few minutes of leaving the house and reaching Doral, Miami International Airport and downtown Miami in less time than it takes you just to get on the Turnpike or the Palmetto Expressway. Imagine if that were a reality today.

Show your support for the Kendall Parkway by attending the Miami-Dade County Commission hearing on April 25, 2018, at 111 NW 1st Street, 2nd Floor Escalators – in the County Commission Chambers.

With your help, the Kendall Parkway can be ready to go by the end of this year!

  1. I don’t agree with this project all is going to due is waist money why don’t they just add two more ramps on the turnpike on 56st and 72st after all they have it under construction right now before they finish and break it up again all it takes a little bit of brains to figure it not spending money where it is not needed. if the ramps were there traffic would flow better due to you don’t have to get off on 88st to go back to 72st they can due this if they want to because we are paying for it after all.

  2. I live off miller and 165th. I think it is absolutely insane to provide an off ramp on miller and 167th with Ferguson High School being only 5 blocks away. The traffic in the morning is already horrible. Imagine an expressway off ramp here. Traffic east and west will be horrible. Not to mention 167th is only 1 lane north and south. I personally vote against an off ramp on miller.

  3. More money for politicians, more traffic for us, and after 3 or 4 years the same traffic congestion’s or even worse.

The solution is a metrorail, no more traffic lanes that also mean more tolls and I come back to the original point MORE MONEY FOR CORRUPT POLITICIANS

  4. I agree to build the Kendall Parkway. But to respect the Urban Development Boundary. Respect the Everglades.

  5. I’d like to add that the Kendall Parkway is not in actual Kendall. The majoarity of it lies in west Miami Dade. They need to change the name of the parkway. Please stop calling anything west of Coral Gables, Kendall.

  6. Can wait for this project to be built!!! Kendall needs a mean to travel from the West side to the rest of the County wihtout having to use Kendall Drive or the Turnpike.

  7. The Kendall Parkway will only bring more development and more traffic to Kendall. This is a horrible idea.
