U.S. Century Bank Participates in Miami Walk Now for Autism Speaks

Autism Speaks 2014As part of U.S. Century Bank’s commitment to our community, more than 100 employees, family members and friends participated in the Walk Now for Autism Speaks event held Sunday, April 6 at J.C. Bermudez Park in the City of Doral. Walk Now for Autism Speaks helps to raise much needed funds for Autism research and to raise awareness of the disorder.

“As a community bank headquartered in Miami, it’s important for us to work with local organizations that are truly making a difference in our hometown,” said Carlos J. Davila, President and C.E.O. of U.S. Century Bank. “In recent years, there has been greater emphasis on the research and treatment of Autism and for the most part, each of us knows someone who is affected by the disorder. At U.S. Century Bank we have embraced Autism Speaks as one of the many important causes in our community and we are proud to support the organization in its fundraising efforts as well as to educate people about the importance of continued research,” he added.

Autism is the fastest-growing serious developmental disorder in the U.S. Walk Now for Autism Speaks is a fun-filled, family friendly event and is the single most powerful force to fund vital research that will lead to the answers needed.
