On Friday, October 5th, Chalk Ping Pong & Billiards launched, PINK PONG, the first of a series of October events benefiting various Breast Cancer Organizations. Chalk’s annual social responsibility program donates its space to local charities and dedicates cocktails and ping-pong to benefit and raise awareness to the night’s organization.

Music by Supergenius and guests

The first installment of PINK PONG kicked off with The Women’s Breast Health Initiative, an outreach organization dedicated to educating women about the importance of breast health and providing them with the resources to beat the disease. The night hosted by Rhonda M. Smith, founder of Breast Cancer Partners and an advocate for this particular organization, spoke briefly about the importance of education and awareness to this threating disease and greeted guests as they enjoyed complimentary PINK GLOW cocktails courtesy of Vitamin Zero and Russian Standard.

Additionally, the night featured a “PINK SHOP” featuring local pop-up shops, like Playa Boutique, Feather Fusion and Mary Kay, selling pink merchandise, offering lip pampering treatments and donating gifts for goodie bags and giveaways.

Angel Squad, also joined for complimentary heavenly massages, dressed in pink corset and wings for the occasion. The series of events continue throughout October with rotating organizations. The PINK GLOW cocktail will be specially priced at $7 for the entire month, with proceeds benefiting that week’s charity. For those who don’t “drink pink”, you can still “think pink” by wearing the color, and ping-pong from 10-11pm is on the house!
