For seafood lovers, the Hess Select South Beach Seafood Festival recently provided attendees with some of South Florida’s best seafood. From Avanti’s linguini with shrimp to oyster shots from Tarpon Bend and Mahi Mahi sliders from City Hall the Restaurant, this culinary event at Lummus Park was an unqualified success. Aside from an ample supply of stone crabs, ceviche, a raw bar and more, there were also cooking demonstrations, promotional giveaways and a special section for children with lots of great activities. It was one of those picture days during which festival goers enjoy the outdoors, food, drink as well as a great live band.
The event was produced by CI Management who named the Miami Beach Chamber Education Foundation, the CI Foundation and the Susan B Komen Foundation as beneficiaries of the day.
This will, hopefully, be the first year of many for this inaugural festival.
