With the new year upon us, we are excited to welcome some new businesses to Miami Beach. With a mix of perfect weather, the most beautiful beaches, the greatest restaurants, fabulous shopping, incredible hotels and non-stop entertainment – all surrounded by the arts – it’s no wonder brands want to set up shop in our city. We welcome these new additions to Miami Beach:

Offering fresh delicious pizza in a familyfriendly atmosphere for over 50 years, Sir Pizza is now open for business in the heart of South Beach. “Our ultimate goal has been to create quality pizza, subs, pasta, salads and more using the freshest ingredients around,” said Owner Cedric Hopta. “Wait until we open our sidewalk café, happening soon, and you can enjoy our quality products basking in the South Beach sun.”

The location will be doing a grand opening ribbon cutting event with the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce in the coming months. The restaurant is located at 407 15th St., South Beach. Telephone: 786-456-4114; www.sirpizzarestaurants.com

A secret oasis in the heart of South Beach, this exclusive private venue, which opened at the end of the 2013, is perfect for a weekend getaway or staycation. Mirroring the beauty of the Mediterranean, this luxurious space is just steps from the beach and pairs stylish, modern rooms with earthy whitewashed Italian stone to create a beautiful villa. From finishes to fixtures, this sophisticated hotspot matches the design style of the late Wallace Tutt, whose renowned Versace Mansion set the design standard for generations. “Neighboring Collins Avenue’s most renowned luxury hotels to the north and its most fashionable boutiques, galleries and restaurants to the south, The Orchid House’s sought-after location puts guests at the epicenter of the storied South Beach scene but is still hidden and quiet,” said Senior Account Director for Tambourine, a marketing agency specializing in the travel and hospitality industry. The boutique accommodation is located on 1350 Collins Avenue; Telephone: 786-606-SOBE; www.theorchidhouse. Com

Opening at the end of 2013, Lure Fishabar at the Loews Miami Beach is the second to open in the country. Known for taking an innovative approach to classic seafood dishes, the eatery opened with critical praise in a city that takes its seafood seriously. New York City restaurateurs John McDonald and Joshua Pickard, along with Lure Fishbar Chef/Partner Josh Capon, opened the popular spinoff to their SoHo restaurant. Between its catch-of-theday freshness and posh nautical motif, Lure Fishbar is a welcomed addition to Miami’s culinary scene. The menu, overseen by Capon and Executive Chef Jeff Raider, includes an array of raw bar, crudo and sushi bar offerings, as well as Miamiinspired appetizers and entrees complete with surf and turf composed plates and SoHo signature favorites. Lure Fishbar is located in the historic St. Moritz Hotel building at the Loews Miami Beach Hotel at 1600 Collins Avenue. Telephone: 305- 695-4550; www.lurefishbar.com

Opening soon on Washington Avenue, BurgerFi boasts that it picks up where other burger franchises leave off. The establishment focuses on all-natural, grass-fed beef with no chemicals, and no additives. It has also built a menu with specialty items like Kobe beef hot dogs, gourmet toppings, delectable desserts, craft beer and wine. Each store is built according to environmentally sustainable best practices, and includes earth-friendly elements, like chairs that are made from recycled Coke bottles, tables made out of compressed recycled wood, and large fans that use 66% less electricity. BurgerFi maintains a low carbon footprint, and maintains strict recycling programs for oil, cardboard, bottles and cans. The restaurant is located at 1242 Washington Avenue; www.burgerfi.com.

From men’s and women’s apparel and accessories to items for the apartment, they offer a lifestyle-specific shopping experience for the educated, urban-minded individual. The store is located at 841 Lincoln Road. Telephone: 305-534-5166; www.urbanoutfitters.com
