Bank of the Ozarks was founded in 1903 as a small community bank in Arkansas. While the company has grown over the years, it maintains that community feel in all of its branch offices. That’s part of the bank’s DNA—so much so that Chairman and CEO George Gleason was named Community Banker of the Year in 2010 by the American Banker magazine.

The bank is built on commitments to excellence, fair dealing, and exceptional customer service. Employees in the local branches take pride in knowing their customers. They know how important it is for people to have a relationship with a banker who is trustworthy and has the expertise to help customers reach their financial goals.

“The entrepreneurial spirit is fundamental to Bank of the Ozarks,” Randolph says. “Our bankers understand what it takes to create business solutions tailored to a client’s needs. We believe the most important part of our job is getting to know our clients and understanding their needs. We believe in treating each client the same way we would want to be treated.”
