Professional women found inspiration and gained invaluable knowledge on how to excel in business. More than 650 women learned new tools and developed business strategies and created new relationships during the Third Miami Empowered Woman Success Summit at the Miami Science Museum on May 19th & 20th. The message was simple yet powerful: Elevate yourself, your brand and make your audience beg for more!
“Elevation is about what’s scary. If taking the next step is scary, you’re on the right track. Push on,” said Jessica Kizorek, founder of BadassBusinessWomen.org, during her inspirational keynote speech. “It’s important to have people around you who want you to succeed. Your success will be measured by the people who are pulling for you.”
Celebrity hat designer Eugenia Kim, of Eugenia Kim Hats & Accessories, shared her success story on how she cornered the luxury hat market and built a multimilliondollar business on her personal brand. Tracy Mourning, founder of HoneyShine and HoneyChild also made an appearance and spoke from the heart to a packed, standingroom- only audience.
Attendees were also treated to surprise guest, Guy Kawasaki, former chief evangelist of Apple, and best-selling author of The Art Of The Deal. Kawasaki spoke from his most recent book, Enchantment, about how to enchant your audience, transform situations and build business relationships.
Other workshops and panels included: Prettier, Smarter, More Popular… How Social Media Is A Lot Like High School; It’s A Man, Man World – Getting Ahead In Male-Dominated Environment; and How To Stop Selling & Start Seducing… With An Irresistible Personal Brand.
During the event, guests were asked to pinkie swear with their neighbor to do everything it takes to reach new levels of success by November 18th.
