hank my amazing co-host Erica Rakow, reporter at Local 10, and a few of our sponsors – the Fontainebleau Miami Beach, BREAKTHRU Beverage, Warren Henry, Viacom, City National Bank, and Southern Audio & Visual. For more on the Gala, please read the front page Gala story.

On that note, the Chamber does not slow down during the summer months. We’re gearing up for some major and exciting events. On June 17th, the Chamber’s Pillar Trustees are hosting their quarterly Pillar breakfast at the Deauville, and will have a Technology focus. On July 22nd, the Chamber’s Emerging Leadership Council co-chaired by Kim Cohen/Oasis Out-sourcing and Joseph Landesman/UBS have organized the City National Bank Champions of Business Panel at 1 Hotel & Homes. With past panelists like Jamal Mashburn, DJ Irie and Ana Quincoces, this event boasts to be the biggest and most glamorous event after our Gala. Additionally, we are starting to prepare for our annual Real Estate Luncheon, which will be held in September and always sells out.

Finally, I wish you all a great summer. Our city has so much to offer from fun in the sun, beautiful beaches, the greatest hotels, fantastic dining, out-standing shopping, and the most impressive arts and culture community. Why would anyone go anywhere else?I encourage you to plan a staycation at one of our local hotels and enjoy the best that Miami Beach has to offer during the summer months.

If you would like to attend any of the aforementioned events or receive more information on membership in the Miami Beach Chamber, please contact the Chamber at 305-674-1300 or go to our website www.miamibeachchamber.com.
