The Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce is entering an exciting year with new members and reasons to celebrate at the Miami Beach Chamber 2010 Annual Meeting. On Tuesday, October 5th, 2010 the Honorable Katherine Fernandez Rundle, State Attorney for Miami-Dade County, swore in the 2010-2011 Board of Governors as well as the new Chairman of the Board for 2010-2012, Jason Loeb, owner of Sudsies Dry Cleaners & Laundry. The installation of both the Board of Governors and Jason Loeb was held during the Miami Beach Chamber 2010 Annual Meeting at the Ritz- Carlton South Beach.

A native of the Miami Beach community, Jason started his career with a few self-service coin Laundromats 11 years ago. Through Sudsies Dry Cleaners & Laundry, he has revolutionized home pickup and delivery service for dry cleaners in South Florida and now boasts a fleet of vans servicing all of Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties. He has implemented his expertise in management and marketing to create an innovative business model and has lent that expertise and leadership to the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce over the past fourteen years.

Jason continues to be very involved in the South Florida community as he currently sits on the Executive Committee for Mount Sinai Hospital Foundation, where he is also a Trustee and a nine year member of EO. He formerly held positions as the President of BNI Miami Beach, Chairman for the City of Miami Beach Zoning Board and Chairman of the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce Pillar Board of Trustees. Jason also served three years on the City of Miami Beach Community Development Advisory Board.

“I feel honored at having been chosen for this position by my peers,” says Jason Loeb. “The Chamber is near and dear to my heart and I’m looking forward to leading this organization and its members to a bright and successful future on Miami Beach.”

In addition, the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce has put together an outstanding group of industry professionals to lead the organization into 2011. The 2010-2011 Board of Governors is comprised of individuals from a wide variety of businesses in South Florida and across the globe and are dedicated to bringing together local and regional business leaders to enhance business development, to nurture personal and professional relationships, to facilitate the exchange of commerce between members, and to preserve the rich heritage of the dynamic business community that exists in and around Miami and Miami Beach.
