Out of the Box Veteran’s cruise Retreat

Wingspan Seminars will host an Out of the Box Veteran’s Cruise Retreat on Royal Caribbean’s Jewel of the Seas, April 24-28, 2016. The overriding themes are establishing an atmosphere of fun and camaraderie while providing resources for transitioning, employment opportunities and VA benefits.

As retired and active duty military and their spouses enjoy cruising, Wingspan Seminars has a packed itinerary that assist the vets with a multitude of sustainable activities.

In keeping with Wingspan’s mission of creating positive environments this cruise endeavors to reach veterans through a unique cruise experience. Its underlining purpose is to assist veterans’ with their everyday challenges while providing a vehicle to enjoy each other, significant others and have some fun. Valuable resources to implement this program are Bert Oliva and a military resource counselor. The keynote speaker, international motivational speaker, Bert Oliva is known for transforming, limiting beliefs, and fulfilling breakthroughs to achieve dreams.While he has volunteers from his audiences demonstrating fantastic, unusual feats, his message to veterans will be “Powered by Potential, Driven by Life!” See Bert in action at www.bowaworld.com or www.wingspanseminars.net. A seasoned veteran resource counselor will be available to have individual and small group consultations. The vets will be able to receive assistance on transitioning, employment opportunities and VA benefits.

Pillow Talk, the cruise’s finale event will top off the retreat with a filmed talk showlike party that will focus on relationship topics from the book 99 Conflicts to Avoid, which each of the registrants will receive as part of their cruise gift package. Wingspan Seminars awards individuals and organizations the Pea’Ce Award Bi-annually.

Recipients are recognized for a passion displayed for communal peace. Cruise registrants will nominate two veterans that will receive the award during the finale. Past honorees include Robert Loupo, Executive Director of Safe Schools South Florida, Rhoda Shirley,Women’s History Coalition, Reinaldo Valdes, Community Relations Board, and Andrea Ivory, Breast Cancer Initiative Founder, who later won the CNN Hero Award.

The cruise retreat will deport from Fort Lauderdale, FL. The itinerary is Key West, Nassau, Bahamas, CocoCay, Bahamas, and Fort Lauderdale April 24-28, 2016. The $200.00 per cabin deposit is due December 1, 2015. The final payment is due February 1, 2016. The reduced rate for veterans is $500.00, however everyone is welcome.
