Winners of the MBVCA’s photo contest will be awarded with roundtrip airfare and a 4-day hotel stay in the city, $1,000 or an Apple iPad Mini!
Tourists and residents alike who love to take pictures of Miami Beach can now win top prizes for those images instead of just sharing them with family and friends. The Miami Beach Visitor and Convention Authority (MBVCA) is sponsoring a photo contest via their Facebook page to solicit interesting, creative, and aesthetically awesome images of beautiful Miami Beach. To encourage submissions, the MBVCA is offering world-class prizes: First place, roundtrip airfare from any major city in the continental U.S. plus a 4 day/3 night stay at a luxury hotel; Second place, $1,000 cash; Third place, an Apple iPad Mini. The contest is expected to attract hundreds of Miami Beach vacationers and residents to participate.
Miami Beach is used to being in the spotlight as one of the world’s most photographed destinations, home to iconic backdrops like Ocean Drive and South Beach. The Miami Beach Visitor and Convention Authority hopes to capture amazing images in one location and share them with the world.
Whether taken via Smartphone or digital camera, highlighting the beach or a beautiful sunset, all photographic entries showcasing the majestic quality of the tropical metropolis that is Miami Beach are welcome. Voting will take place on the MBVCAFacebook page and the photo with the most “likes” will take the top prize.
The contest begins on March 1 and ends at midnight on March 31, 2013. The contest is open to participants 18-years-old and older as of March 1, 2013. Photos can be uploaded to the MBVCA Facebook page as well as miamibeachphotocontest@mbvca.com.
