STOP WORRYING

Meditation Relaxation

WORRYING IS A WASTE OF TIME
Worrying is a waste of time. It doesn’t provide anything supportive, only negative thinking and negative scenario outcomes. Worrying makes you feel like a victim and can take away all your power and energy. Rather than focusing solutions and positive outcomes, you are focusing on possible negative outcomes that may never happen. The mind is so powerful that when creative energy is focused on the negative, the whole universe seems to be conspiring to make the negative become reality.

This is difficult for some people. Worrying is like a water leak. Once it starts, it doesn’t stop until the pipe bursts. In fact, it grates on your nerves and creates undue and overwhelming stress for you and for everyone around you.

CONTROL THE GATES TO YOUR MIND
I find that most stress is due to unstructured thoughts. Many people thrive within structure. If you know where you want to go and how to get there, create a plan or set of goals. The more detailed you can be, the less stress you will feel.

Let’s say you worry constantly about money. Stop worrying and jump into action. Put together a plan. Then write down some small goals for both saving money and earning money whenever possible. Answer these questions: What do you have to do tomorrow? What do you have to do the next day? Creating a detailed plan and following it helps to alleviate worry, as well as give a greater sense of hope and direction.

YOU DESERVE HAPPINESS
At the core of worry is a need to punish one’s self. People often have a deep rooted negative belief that they are not worthy of happiness. Worry is a symptom of that belief. You need to believe you deserve to have money, to be successful, and to achieve greatness. Retrain yourself to accept it as the positive reward for your efforts and sticking to your plan.

Once the burden of worry is lifted, things become easy. Big problems appear small. Challenges are easier to overcome. Your energy is preserved and you seem to accomplish much more in less time. Let worry off at the next train stop and don’t let it back on. Don’t let it be your constant companion, whispering in your ear negatives that undermine all you can be. By mastering worry you will be well on your way to mastering anything you set your sights on.
