While Miami Beach is known as an international swim mecca year round, July transforms the City into a sophisticated showcase of swim wear designers, buyers, models and fashionistas when Mercedes- Benz Fashion Week Swim 2013, the Swim Show & Lingerie Show and FUNKSHION: SWIM take over the city. The Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim shows run from July 18-22, with main stages inside the pop-up Oasis and Cabaña Grande luxe-tents at the Raleigh Hotel.
The Swim Show & Lingerie Show will feature runway shows at the Miami Beach Convention Center from July 20-23. The FUNKSHION: SWIM Shows will be held in the upscale SLS Hotel South Beach and Soho Beach House from July 16-21. Swim Show & Lingerie Show, the largest swimwear and lingerie tradeshows in the world, will feature nearly 2,500 brands. Funded in part by the MBVCA, the show will offer buyers and consumers a large-scale, high-profile presence at Swim Week, apart from the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim shows.
Turning heads and turning out trends for more than three decades, Swim Show 2013 will add 400,000 square feet of exhibition space this year. Swim Show 2013 will feature:

• Exclusive and superior lingerie section
• Expanded accessory collections from across the globe for the finest in women’s, men’s, children’s, resort & lifestyle fashion
• Nearby at the iconic Raleigh Hotel, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim runways will be showcasing summer beach fashion from Aqua Di Lara, Mara Hoffman Swim, L*Space by Monica Wise, Vix Paula, Hermanny A.Ché Swim, Aguaclara, AquaRella, and Caitlin Kelly Swimwear, among others.
And of course, because it’s Miami Beach, what happens off the runways is just as much fun as the shows. Star-studded after parties take place almost every night and locals can model watch at some of the beach’s hottest restaurants like Prime 112, Juvia and Red, the Steakhouse. They can burn off the calories later, dancing the night away at A-list hangouts like W’s WALL, Fontainebleau’s LIV, Bamboo and Story.
Swim Week events bring hundreds of swim fashion enthusiasts to Miami Beach every year to experience not only an unparalleled showcase of design, but also a tropical metropolis that has come to define Swim. As always, Fashion Swim Week 2013 is dressed to impress with a lineup of shows and events. And Miami Beach, the epitome of Swim, is ready to play host.
