During the months of January – December 2015, domestic passenger arrivals into Miami International Airport (MIA) increased by 11.1% compared to 2014. International passenger arrivals increased by 6.4% while total passenger arrivals increased 8.8% compared to the same time last year.

GMCVB Travel Industry Sales Team just returned from selling Miami and Beaches at the 11th Boston Globe Travel Show, February 19- 21, 2016. The Team was joined by GMCVB Partners Grand Beach Hotel Group and Nobu Eden Roc. One of the largest consumer travel shows in the country, the show regularly draws more than 20,000 consumer and travel trade attendees. Miami and The Beaches was promoted as the premier destination for pre/post cruises, family travel, arts/entertainment and more during the show.
