On Tuesday, February 25, 2014, Yard House celebrated the opening of its Miami Beach location, right off of Lincoln Road at 1681 Lenox Avenue. During the preview party, guests enjoyed samples of signature plates and beverages including the 140 beers on tap. In attendance were City of Miami Beach Commissioners Michael C. Grieco and Joy Malakoff as well as Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce Chairman and SVP of Gibraltar Private Bank & Trust Michael S. Goldberg, Chamber President and CEO Jerry Libbin, Chamber Vice- Chair Aaron Tandy and General Manager of Yard House Andre La Grange.
Kicking off the celebration, Yard House presented a $2,000 check to Feeding South Florida as part of its partnership with Round It Up America®. The goal of the program is to give every day Americans the opportunity to give back and donate pocket change by rounding up their check to the nearest dollar. While the individual donations may be nominal, their collective sum is powerful. Round It Up America® supports over 20 charities nationwide which receive funds from Yard House based on their geographical location to the stores.
Since its inception in December 1996, Yard House has been serving up great food with classic rock music and an endless fleet of tap handles. Whether you are in the mood for a grilled burger and a pint of your favorite ale, or a Hawaiian Poke Stack and house crafted cocktail, Yard House has something for everyone.
