Spay neuter workshop aims to save cat lives

Miami-Dade AniCatWithEarTip-webmal Services is launching a new initiative to save the lives of community cats by holding a Trap, Neuter, Return (TNR) workshop to create volunteer trapping corps. The workshop will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2015 from 10 a.m. to noon at Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Headquarters, Auditorium 9300 N.W. 41st Street Miami, FL 33178.

Anyone interested in attending the workshop is asked to email Arthur Moise, Animal Services TNR Coordinator atCATTNR@miamidade.gov.

The TNR workshop will introduce a program to help establish teams of TNR volunteers supported by Animal Services. Volunteers will receive assistance with traps, free spay/neuter services including vaccines, donated cat food and a communication network for volunteers.
